Erythritol is a natural low-calorie sweetener. Commonly found in fruit and vegetables,
as well as plant seeds, Erythritol has a delicate and sweet flavor. What is more,
erythritol does not cause tooth decay. After consumption, it is rapidly cleared from
the body. It can be used by diabetics. Another advantage of erythritol is that even
when consumed in large quantities, it does not produce laxative effects.
Erythritol has been enriched with steviol glycosides.
Steviol glycosides have been used in South America for centuries as a natural
sweetener. They are obtained from a plant called stevia (Stevia rebaudiana) and
have been reported to be 250-350 times sweeter than regular sugar.
Directions: Use in the same way as white sugar. Can be used for cooking, baking
and sweetening, as it helps reduce the caloric content of the meals.
